Shipping Policies

 

For orders under $50, the default shipping charges are $7.99.

Standard Shipping Orders will be shipped U.P.S. ground or via United States Post Office.

 

Orders shipping to Hawaii or Alaska will incur additional shipping charges because of the greater shipping distances, and therefore do not qualify for Free Shipping.

 

Shipping time is calculated in BUSINESS DAYS. USPS mail is delivered Monday-Saturday.

 

UPS does not consider Saturday a business day. If you require Saturday delivery (it is a special request that needs for you to call us at 1-800-865-6734). UPS only offers Saturday Deliver as "Saturday Delivery" and it is an additional charge to a Friday Next Day Air shipment. For Saturday Delivery the order must be placed by 1:00 PM Pacific Time. Please contact us at 800-865-6734 for cost and to request Saturday delivery.

 

UPS 3 Day Select, 2nd Day Air and Next Day Air services can be added during checkout for an additional cost.

 


 

EXPEDITED SHIPPING POLICY

 

Some products are drop-shipped directly from the manufacturer and can take anywhere from 2 to 5 business days to process an order. These orders are immediately dispatched from our office to the manufacturer when delivery and payment information has been verified.

 

If you need to request "expedited shipping," please call our offices at (800) 865-6734 between 8 am - 5pm PST.

 

Incomplete or Wrong Shipping Addresses - If an order is returned because of an incomplete address, incorrect address, is undeliverable or refused, the customer will be required to pay the actual shipping cost to re-send the item. If you want to verify that the shipping address is correct, click here to use the US Post Office Zip Code verifier . Enter your address and if it verifies, the address will work fine.

 

If your shipping address is entered incorrectly, UPS charges a correction fee of $10.00 for ground and $15.00 for express packages. This fee will be billed to your credit card to cover the cost.

 


 

FREE SHIPPING EXCEPTIONS

 

Certain oversized, overweight items are excluded from Free Shipping. Currently, this ONLY applies to General Cage Fiberglass Cages, and Multi-Unit Wire Cages and Chain Link Kennel Systems – which are very large and heavy.

 

The General Cage *Multi-Unit Cage & Crates are shipped via Motor Freight from the manufacturer in Elwood, IN. Please call or email for a shipping quote before ordering.

 

Almost all other products on MightyPets.com receive Free Shipping if the order is $50 or more. See Details during Checkout.

 


 

ALASKA, HAWAII, APO, FPO AND US TERRITORIES

 

Items for which the standard shipping is via the USPS do ship FREE to Alaska, Hawaii, APO, FPO and US Territories.

 

FREE shipping is not offered for items for which the standard shipping is UPS ground (generally anything over 2 lbs). USPS Priority Mail or UPS expedited services can be selected during checkout for those items.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS

 

We gladly ship orders to addresses outside the United States. We ship USPS or UPS. The shipping cost will be calculated during checkout. We usually recommend that you select Priority Shipping (14-21 business days) for your order because orders shipped via First Class mail can take 4 to 6 weeks for delivery. If you do not receive your package within the first 6 weeks, tracking down your package can take another 30 buinsess days to resolve.

 

Due to the high cost of international shipping, the following provisions apply:

If the Purchaser must return items for either refund or replacement, the Purchaser is responsible for all shipping and insurance costs incurred to ensure delivery. The Purchaser is also responsible for payment of all shipping and insurance costs necessary for us to ship replacement equipment to the Purchaser.

 

It is the buyer's responsibility to determine if the item is legal for import and allowed in your country BEFORE you order, any item(s) seized by customs are the responsibility of the customer.

Any taxes or duties levied by the buyer's country are the sole responsibility of the buyer.
